Abstract
												⺠Main Central Thrust in Sikkim occurs as a several-km-thick zone of deformation. ⺠MT data reveal anomalous phase behavior at the northern boundary of this zone. ⺠Explained in terms of the presence of localized anisotropic block and anisotropic layer. ⺠Strong contrast in the anisotropy strikes of these features.
