Abstract
⺠Remote sensing based methodology for prediction of regolith thickness (RT) at regional scale. ⺠DEM derived topographic attributes and geology map for RT prediction. ⺠Use of remote sensing images and field data for 2005 Kashmir earthquake damage assessment. ⺠Comparison of predicted RT with damage data reveal increases in damages with increasing RT. ⺠The predicted RT can be used for seismic microzonation.
