Abstract
⺠The Hadb adh Dayheen ring complex (HDRC), comprises alkaline to peralkaline granites. ⺠Field and textural observations indicate that HDRC formed at different stages. ⺠Textural and chemical characteristics show primary and secondary metasomatic effects. ⺠Geochemical characteristics indicate that the HDRC granite has a post-orogenic A-type affinity. ⺠Magma that formed the HDRC may have originated by partial melting of underplated juvenile lower crust.
