⺠Amorphous phase in omphacite. ⺠Variations in compositions, OH across amorphous and fractured regions in omphacite. ⺠OH may diffuse outward, react with atom at M2 site during distorted plastic deformation. ⺠Amorphous form in omphacite crystalline structure collapses.
