Abstract
► First report of structural architecture of Paleoproterozoic Kandra ophiolite, India. ► Deformed remnants of truncated ocean plate stratigraphy in imbricate thrust slices. ► Subduction related, oceanic back-arc setting geochemical signatures in Kandra OPS. ► 2-3 km wide belt of deformed and truncated OPS shows opposing thrust vergence. ► Bivergent thrust systems possibly root into a detachment below upper oceanic crust.
