Abstract
► Nephrite forms through: dolomitic marble → tremolite or diopside → tremolite. ► Alamas deposit shows nephrite color zones with increasing contents of Cr and TFe2O3. ► Fluid inclusions in tremolite indicate nephrite formed above 293 °C. ► Ore-forming fluids for nephrite have meteoric, magmatic water and CO2 from dolomite. ► Metasomatic and dolomite-related origin is suggested for Alamas nephrite deposit.
