Abstract
With a specified section across Okinawa trench, scenarios of the Tsunami wave-forms induced by bottom deformation, from their generation in deep sea to shallow water, are simulated. The numerical results imply that low magnitude earthquake results in a dispersive wave train while large magnitude induce N-wave like solitary waves. It takes around 9 hours for solitary wave front reaches the coastal line of Shanghai.
