Abstract
⺠Two deformation phases were recorded in the Khlong Marui shear zone. ⺠D1 is characterized by dextral ductile deformation. ⺠D1a occurred during amphibolite facies and D1b occurred under greenschist facies. ⺠D2 is brittle normal faulting dominantly oriented striking between 000° and 030. ⺠Wm of D1 quartz texture indicates simple shear flow in a transpression zone.
