Abstract
⺠New geometric parameters to shearband boudins: Bbs, B-t, câ², Dâ², d, Ïâ². ⺠The identification of a local displacement plane (Sx), which is always normal to the boudin axis (Lb). ⺠New methodology to the kinematic interpretation of shearband boudins, in HT simple shear zones, using the Bbs orientation, câ² type-I kinematics and the relative position of B-t and Bbs.
