Abstract
												⺠We present the Last Glacial Maximum history of a major glacier from the Italian Alps. ⺠After the paraglacial phase increasing wetness promoted emplacement of debris cones. ⺠The Lateglacial pioneering of deglaciated terrain by Pinus cembra is unprecedented.
