Abstract
⺠Previous workers have suggested Holocene glacier history on Mt Baker was anomalous. ⺠We show that glacier fluctuations were similar to those elsewhere in the region. ⺠Glaciers advanced during the Younger Dryas and receded in the early Holocene. ⺠Neoglaciation began ca 6 ka and glaciers advanced to successively greater limits. ⺠Maximum Holocene extents were reached in the Little Ice Age in the 1800s.
