Abstract
⺠We study the abilities of slingram devices when hold vertically. ⺠The responses of vertical and horizontal devices for 1D and 3D models are compared. ⺠Comparative surveys were undertaken in situ to confirm the theoretical conclusions. ⺠Vertical slingram devices are suitable for survey and can constitute an alternative.
