Abstract
⺠We couple a low order Î±Ï dynamo model to a shell model of turbulence. ⺠The field fluctuations obtained from this model exhibit lognormal-like statistics. ⺠In this sense, the model fluctuations are comparable to paleomagnetic fluctuations. ⺠We describe the dynamics behind our coupled model, and implications for the Earth.
