Abstract
The bird remains from Valbro belong only to three taxa, Paraortyx lorteti, Archaeotrogon venustus, and A. zitteli. This association makes it possible to ascribe to this locality an early Oligocene age, reference-levels MP 22 or MP 23, which is in agreement with the age given by the mammals.
