Abstract
⺠Diatom community off West Greenland is typical of Arctic spring blooms. ⺠Northern cold water species indicate increased meltwater influx (e.g. spring blooms). ⺠Temperate water species indicate decreased melting and ocean forcing. ⺠Temperate water species (resting spores) are linked to the West Greenland Current. ⺠Anti-phase pattern was identified based on diatoms (climatic trend vs water temp.).
