Abstract
⺠Settling velocity is the most important parameter for the hydrodynamics of foraminifera. ⺠Shape entropy factor may strongly vary the settling velocity of each specimen. ⺠Correlation between orbital and settling velocity provides the transportability. ⺠Foraminifera resist water motion by building a hydrodynamic convenient test. ⺠To get light foraminifera live at the shallowest depth where they are not transported.
