Abstract
⺠Modern pollen distinguishes the forests, orchards and open vegetation of Cyprus. ⺠Plant species reflect moderately high fidelity between their plants and pollen. ⺠Pollen taxa show distinct links to mean annual precipitation and temperature. ⺠Modern pollen data from Cyprus may be used to interpret past vegetation and climate.
