Abstract
⺠We present multiproxy evidence for human impact during late-Holocene in SW Korea. ⺠Our data indicate a climatic deterioration in SW Korea during AD200 - AD800. ⺠We hypothesize how people responded to climate change. ⺠A possible link between climate, cultivation, and forest ecosystems is suggested.
