Abstract
⺠31 species of Xenoxylon, a widespread Mesozoic fossil wood, are reappraised. ⺠Most of the available types were revisited and 285 specimens studied. ⺠Synonymic rate was found to be high. ⺠A taxonomical key is proposed.
