Abstract
⺠Mina Esquirol is a new Late Cretaceous locality bearing angiosperm seeds. ⺠The seeds described belong to a new genus and species, Bergacarpon viladricii. ⺠The seeds may correspond to a Monocot, probably a commelinid. ⺠One of the oldest monotypical angiosperm seed accumulations in the fossil record.
