Abstract
âºPlant fossils from the Maastrichtian are described as a new genus and species. âºThey show resemblances with lycopsids and angiosperms. âºThe plant is considered to be of unknown affinity (incertae sedis). âºCircumstantial evidence suggests that the species grew in a marine environment.
