Abstract
⺠A review of each formally described Myrtaceidites morphospecies. ⺠Updated affinity between Myrtaceidites species and extant Myrtaceae. ⺠New LM images used to illustrate the morphological variation of Myrtaceidites. ⺠A new species, Myrtaceidites leptospermoides, erected. ⺠9 Myrtaceidites morphotypes identified, including 6 useful for molecular dating.
