Abstract
⺠Eifelian to Givetian palynological samples from Libya have been studied. ⺠The richest megaspore assemblage of the Gondwana has been discovered. ⺠Seventeen taxa are determined, including two new species and four new varieties. ⺠Two species have a diameter size above the mm, and are the largest for this period. ⺠A pre-Pangea would explain the palaeogeographic distribution of the megaspores.
