Abstract
Schematic representation of photoelectrochemical water oxidation using tetragonal BiV0.8Mo0.2O4 photoanode and Linear sweep voltamograms for pristine BiVO4 and BiV0.80Mo0.2O4 under dark and illuminated conditions in 0.5Â M Na2SO4Â +Â 0.5Â M Na2SO3 (hole scavenger) revealing the improvement in water oxidation current for tetragonal BiV0.80Mo0.2O4 due to the catalytic effect of Bi3+/Bi5+.
