Abstract
A Pd-NiO/Y(Ba)2O3 developed catalyst shows high activity to selective NOx reduction into N2 (yield ~ 70%) with C3H6 under oxygen excess conditions. Y(Ba)2O3 support material is active to NO direct decomposition at high temperatures and is considered to selectively adsorb NO. By depositing NiO and Pd simultaneously, high NO selective reduction activity is exhibited around 200 °C and the activity is hardly affected by the addition of water in the feed stream.
