Abstract
Two-dimensional heterojuctions were created by decorating porous CdS nanoplates with C3N4 nanosheets. The optimized composite shows excellent hydrogen evolution rate of 13.1 mmol hâ 1 gâ 1 in photocatalytic water splitting that is attributed to the enhanced light absorption ability and separation efficiency of photogenerated electrons and holes.271
