Abstract
- For a feed with H2/COÂ >Â 1.7 the single pass syngas conversion is less than 50-60%.
- Partial pressure of water increases with conversion which causes deactivation.
- With CO rich feed high single pass syngas conversion (>80%) can be achieved.
- Water-gas-shift activity increases with temperature and decrease in pressure.
- The H2/CO usage ratio depends strongly on syngas feed ratio and syngas conversion.
