Abstract
- Cobalt based catalyst layers with adjustable thickness (50-600 μm) were prepared.
- Mechanical compaction reduces transport pore fraction from 35 to 5%.
- Variation of diffusion length strongly affects reaction rate with maximum at 140 μm.
- Transport pores retard drop in C5+ selectivity with increasing thickness.
- Mass specific productivity increased 25-50% by the use of transport pores.
