Abstract
In order to reveal the influence of using soft fin on multi-scale particle kinetics at the gas conveying velocity of the minimum pressure drop in a horizontal self-excited pneumatic conveying system, high-speed PIV is employed to measure the particle fluctuation velocity at a certain pipe section. Then, an orthogonal wavelet multi-resolution analysis and power spectrum are employed to reveal multi-scale characteristics of particle fluctuation velocity.
