Abstract
Conventional EU-1zeolite was synthesized as upper process showed, only a small amount of mesopore exist in the product. Organosilanes can react with water to form silanol, the product was composed of molecules that at one end (silanol) attract water and at the other end attract oil. The silanol continues to react with Si- of crystalline surface to form Si-O-Si, thus can fixed organosilanes on the surface of crystal and generate a hydrophobe layer. The hydrophobe layer restrains the growth of the crystal. Besides when nanocrystals of EU-1 zeolites pilling up together in disorder, organosilanes can prevent nanocrystals fused with each other. After nanocrystals, hierarchical EU-1 zeolite was generated.220
