Abstract
The variable valence states of Cu, Fe, and La endow the CFLA catalyst with excellent electron-transfer properties and catalytic oxidation activity. The low-valence metals capture O2 to form O2â oxidative species, moreover, O2â combines with H+ in the solution, thus affording some stronger oxidative species such as H2O2, which oxidize organic matters into smaller molecules such as CO2, H2O, and other small molecule organic matters.
