Abstract
A novel Ï-extended fluorescent dye NCR with far-red emission has been efficiently synthesized by hybridizing naphthocoumarin and rhodamine moieties. Based on this dye, a new fluorescent probe NCR-Cu has been developed for Cu2+.139
