Abstract
A novel KBaYSi2O7: Ce3+ blue phosphor was synthesized via a simple solid-state reaction. XRD results and refinement analysis indicate that this compound belongs to monoclinic P121/n1(14) space group and Ce3+ ions are mainly entered into the Y3+ site. The centroid shift and crystal field splitting of the 5d energy levels as Ce3+ ions on occupied site in KBaYSi2O7 were investigated in details.320
