Abstract
A series of hybrid tin halides Sn(phen)XmYn were designed and prepared. Their absorption and fluorescence spectra are continuously adjustable by changing the composition of different halide elements. These main-group metal halides have ligand to ligand charge-transfer properties and can be used as photoelectrosensitizers.435
