Abstract
The distyryl-BODIPY groups were substituted to the phthalocyanine core by the copper-free Sonogashira coupling or “Click” reactions and the novel zinc(II) phthalocyanine-BODIPY conjugates were synthesized for the first time. Eight distyryl-BODIPY groups were linked to the phthalocyanine core through ethynyl bonds or triazole rings. These conjugates showed pH-dependence fluorescence emission and singlet oxygen generation.248
