Abstract
Nano metal phthalocyanines (MPcs) are prepared from bulk using a recrystallization process with enhanced nucleation by a dilute KOH aqueous solution. The formation of nano MPcs and purification are accomplished simultaneously. This method has the advantages of organic solvent free, operation at room temperature, providing a facial way to turn bulk MPcs into nano with high purity.244
