Abstract
- Since MnO2 is nobler than enargite, they form a galvanic corrosion couple causing strong interaction between them.
- The addition of MnO2 improved the leaching rate of enargite in a sulfuric acid medium.
- Adding carbon black dramatically enhanced the enargite leaching kinetics in the presence of MnO2.
