Abstract
The multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) have been longitudinally unzipped, resulting in the formation of unzipped multiwalled carbon nanotube oxides (UMCNOs) by the Hummers method. The unzipping process can open and separate the walls of MWCNTs, which leads to the greatly increased the available interface areas of per volume MWCNTs, and both the inner walls and the outermost walls can interact with the polymer matrix. Then a novel strategy based on overoxidized poly(p-aminopheno) (pAPox) and UMCNOs copolymer modified electrode was proposed for the simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA), and tryptophan (Trp). Besides, the coexistence of ascorbic acid (AA) has no interference toward the detection of DA, UA and Trp.203
