Abstract
From DEM simulations of the vertical axis cylindrical high shear granulator, the blade-bed stress model proposed in our previous work is improved with a modified correction factor B2=K21Frrel0.52hwD0.3θâ0.5 with a fitted proportionality constant K2. This enables prediction of the stress at various particle bed properties, blade geometries and granulator scales.
