Abstract
As shown by the experimental and analytical results the dynamic properties of pultruded FRP material are characterized by high periods of vibration, low frequencies and a spontaneous dissipative capacity of the seismic action due to its low mass; in the design approach this latter aspect has to be balanced by the high deformability. The analyses allow to define the performance laws of structural elements made of pultruded FRP material that are preparatory for the final recommendation in the seismic design criteria of all-FRP structure addressed in this paper.
