Abstract
A novel thermal-tracing technique was developed and successfully applied to measure solid circulation rate between a riser combustor and a bubbling bed gasifier of a Dual Fluidized Bed pilot plant. It operates by injecting cold particles into a moving bed of hot particles and tracking their movements using thermocouples.84
