Abstract
A numerical study was conducted on the inclination angle effect of the adiabatic wall in a channel asymmetrically heated on the laminar natural convection behavior. The center of the other wall of the channel has been subjected to a uniform heat flux density. Different inclination angles have been studied (â10° ⤠α ⤠+10°) for a modified Rayleigh number Ra*= 4.5 à 106. A finite volume method was used to solve the governing equations using the ANSYS FLUENT commercial code. The results showed a huge influence of the inclination angle on the velocity and pressure fields and on the flow within the channel.
