Abstract
Charged porous membranes with tunable morphologies were prepared exclusively via NIPS technique. Membranes possessing finger-like structure will provide higher dialysis coefficient of H+ but lower selectivity. However, membranes with sponge-like structure displayed outstanding H+ dialysis coefficients and separation factors. Particularly for the HCl/AlCl3 system, the separation factor reached as high as 2033 which is indubitably a landmark and tremendous achievement for the development of acid recovery process.444
