Abstract
93 The mechanism of phosphotungstic acid modification CeO2 (P-W/CeO2) was investigated. Bidentate nitrate (NO3â) reacted with NH4+ and formed the NO2, resulting in enhancement of “fast reaction”, followed by Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism. The coordinated NH3 species reacted with NO2-adsorbed and gaseous NO to generate N2 and H2O, followed by Eley-Rideal mechanism.
