Abstract
This paper presents a methodology for coordination and control of multiple photovoltaic (PV) generators for distributed power generation in a microgrid. Strategies are provided for coordination of active power generation and control of active power flows among distributed energy resources, while achieving supply-demand balance. Distributed approaches for optimal dispatch and control of active power flows are considered for active power support in the continuous-time domain. The effectiveness of the proposed approaches is investigated through an illustrative example.
