Abstract
This paper proposes a non-isolated three-phase high step-up DC-DC converter based on three-winding high frequency coupled-inductor (HFCI) and voltage multiplier cell (VMC). The primary and secondary windings of each HFCI are inserted in the same phase and the tertiary winding is inserted in one of the two other phases. Combining the advantages of both HFCIs and VMCs, the voltage conversion ratio is increased and the voltage across the semiconductors is decreased. The converter analysis is given in three modes of operation named as continuous conduction mode (CCM), discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) and boundary conduction mode (BCM). The experimental results are finally provided to show the validity of the proposed converter scheme.
