Abstract
This paper presents a novel decentralized control scheme for a multi-machine power system with nonlinear interconnections. We adopt a recursive backstepping method and develop a novel LMI-based algorithm to construct decentralized feedback control laws that improve the disturbance attenuation ability of the closed-loop interconnected system and do not require the online optimization. Simulation results show the effectiveness of our proposed control strategy.
