Abstract
This work presents and analyzes the design and implementation aspects of an open source Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition software. Case uses of the software are also discussed, mostly focusing in embedded computational platforms and microcontroller-based prototyping boards. The main objective of this software is to provide a low cost, open source and extensible tool for open source and scientific users.
