Abstract
In the past several decades there have been many advances made in power system technology. In order ensure the protection and control equipment used in the operation of power systems behaves as designed, advanced real time simulation and testing tools are utilized. As the industry adapts to the presence of high speed, sophisticated and interactive components, the role and importance of real time simulation is increased.
