Abstract
This paper deals with the impact assessment of three previously published torsional vibration active damping methods to the torque control process of the servomotor. These methods are based on additional speed setpoints that are generated from the servomotor actual state values. The experimental measurements that were made using the experimental setup proved that these methods do not have a negative effect, but in fact optimize the servomotor torque control process.
